Bosch Rexroth linear guides are equipment parts that provide linear movements. A carriage can move along a rail, a ball sleeve along a precision shaft, a roller or ball nut along a screw, and in the case of precision guides, two rails relative to each other. The advantages of rolling friction over sliding friction are so great that linear guides with rolling bodies – balls or rollers – are now the generally accepted standard for industrial equipment. Sliding guides with a special coating are also suitable if the resource and efficiency requirements are low.
